Rice Insurance Agency is an Independent Insurance Agency located in Farmersville, Texas. We are a family owned and operated agency that has been helping our customers with their insurance needs for over 46 years.
We are a full service, multiple-line insurance agency licensed to do business only in the state of Texas. We provide insurance for home, auto, commercial and life.
Since we are an independent agency, we take on the task of searching companies and comparing coverage for our clients. We believe in old fashioned customer service and feel it is important to build relationships with our clients and treat their assets as if they are our own.
Our friendly staff are licensed agents with the Texas Department of Insurance. We participate in continuing education to keep up with changes and insure our clients are taken care of.
C. Windell Rice, Agent
C. Windell Rice has built a lifelong career in the insurance business. Windell received his Life license in 1962. He later acquired his Property & Casualty license in 1968.
The Windell Rice Insurance Agency was started in 1968 and later became known as Plano Insurance Agency. Windell then became an agent for Woodmen of the World while his wife, Wanda, ran Germania Local Chapter 302 until she retired leaving the agency to Donna Rice.
In 2008, Windell retired from Woodmen of the World and in June opened the Rice Insurance Agency taking the agency back over from Donna. Windell's staff includes his son, Cory Rice, and granddaughter, Brynn Rice.
